ZipLine Kanin before Planina Krnica - Plešivec

Access to starting point:
We drive to Bovec, where we have to turn into the old part of the center and there at the roundabout turn uphill towards Plužna and B station. When we get to the junction with a macadam road we turn left onto it and continue towards B station. When we reach it, we continue further towards the Krnica valley, where we park by the Zip line. We can also drive to the mountain pasture Krnica but at the beginning the road is bad.

Path description:
From the starting point at Zip line we continue on the macadam road to the mountain pasture in Krnica. Here the marked footpath (mule track) points us left. After approx 15 minutes of walking, we have to go on an unmarked footpath to the right and we continue below the wall above the highest forest tongue. When we get to a smaller saddle we have to cross left over a pile of stones and we continue on a footpath to a smaller traverse, which is equipped with a steel cable. Here a steep grassy valley opens up through which in zig-zags runs a mule track. With some rough scree in between. When we get to the saddle, we notice on the left side two abysses. We continue on a mule track right, where soon after the corner we notice ruins of a stable for horses. Here we continue to the right below the wall on a poorly visible footpath which at the end goes left and again changes into a mule track. We continue there all the way to the ruins of barracks. From here still forward and then slowly to the right, where the upper grassy slope opens up on which we continue to the top, where a cairn is placed.
