Eisenhut

Description of mountain:
Eisenhut is with height 2441 meters the highest peak in Gurktal Alps, Alps which are stretching in the basin of river Krka / Gurk, and towards the north are descending towards the valley of river Mur. On the panoramic peak, there is a cross and an inscription box. The view from the peak is quite wide and reaches all the way from Karawanks, Kamnik Savinja Alps, Julian Alps, over Carnic and Gailtal Alps to High and Lower Tauern and nearby Lavanttal Alps, most beautiful are of course views on the peaks of Gurktal Alps.
