Finsteltaler Schartenkopf

Description of mountain:
(Finsteltaler) Schartenkopf is a peak in the mountain range above Kühtai, which from the saddle Finstertal, from where runs the easiest approach there, seems quite indistinct, more powerful it shows from the surroundings of an artificial lake Finstertal, above which it is rising as a statuesque guard.
In spite of that, that the path to the top is only partly marked and approach there leads through a rugged crumbly slope, the short ascent on Schartenkopf from the saddle Finstertal isn't too difficult. On the top a breathtaking view opens up towards the highest peaks in this part of the mountain range, Sulzkogel and Zwölferkogel, towards the lake Finstertal deeply below us and towards the majority of Stubai Alps south from us.
