Description of mountain:
Mountain hut Kreuzeckhaus known also under the name Adolf Zoeppritz Haus is situated on the summit Kreuzeck at an altitude 1652 meters. At the mountain hut is also an upper station of the cableway Kreuzeckbahn. From the mountain hut is otherwise very nice view towards the summit Alpspitze, and a view is also nice into a valley towards the settlement Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The mountain hut is open from middle of May to the beginning of November and from middle of December to the middle of April.
