Mala Boncla is 1131 meters high rocky - secured peak above Javorniški Rovt in Karawanks, which to a visitor offers a nice view in the direction towards Javornik and Javorniški Rovt, and at the back towards Gorje. South-west from here a view reaches to Bohinj mountains, and west on Julian Alps - from Viševnik over Triglav and Škrlatica, to Kukova špica. Northwest as clear as day we see Golica and Krvavka, on the very north Belska planina, Struška, Srednica and Kamnitnik.
Mala Boncla, which is neighbor of less interesting 1241 meters high Velika Boncla, is in some older maps appears under the name Bavha, which in folk jargon supposed to mean white cow.
