Description of mountain:
Pomjan is a nucleated village, which is situated in the middle of Šavrinsko gričevje and with its altitude also the highest village of the mentioned hills. In the village, there is a succursal church of Mary's Birth from 15th century, the parish church of St. Jurij, which was on 16th April 1222 consecrated by bishop Absalon, memorial plaque NOB and some information boards. On the eastern side of the settlement, by the road which leads towards Marezige, there is situated a nice viewpoint, from which a beautiful view opens up on surrounding hills, the sea, and in good weather, the view reaches all the way to the Alps.
