Description of mountain:
Poštak (also "Kečina kosa") is a scenic mountain at the juncture of Lika and Dalmatia. It belongs in the mountain chain Lička Plješivica as its extension, but some people consider it as part of a long mountain range of Dinara. On a mostly unvegetated mountain there are prevailing extensive plains and shorter walls, and we can find also some interesting rocky loners. From a grassy peak (1425 meters) above the walls, which is situated on the far western edge of an elongated ridge, there is a nice view towards Lika, Dalmatia and nearby mountains - Velebit, Dinara, Plješivica and Osječenica, which is already in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Few minutes below the spacious peak there is a box with an inscription book and a stamp of "Croatian hiking trail" (HPO).
