Mountain hut Prielschutzhaus is situated at an altitude 1420 meters in the mountain group Totes Gebirge below the slopes of the highest peak Großer Priel. From the mountain hut is a very nice view towards the mentioned Großer Priel and Spitzmauer, and nice is also view towards the valley Stodertal. The mountain hut is open from the beginning of April to the end of October. In the time when mountain hut is closed is available winter room with 10 mattresses.
