Description of mountain hut:
The Rifugio Vajolet mountain hut is located at 2,243 meters in the Catinaccio (Rosengarten) mountain group below the mighty towers of Torri del Vajolet. From the hut there is a very nice view of the nearby precipitous peaks, where the aforementioned towers particularly stand out. The hut has 130 beds and is open in the summer months. It was first built in 1897 and has been renovated and enlarged several times since. Next to Rifugio Vajolet is the slightly smaller Rifugio Preuss hut.
