Donačka gora

Description of mountain:
Donačka gora is a peak, which is situated north from Rogatec. From the top, which geographically belongs in Karawanks is a nice view towards near and far surrounding. From the western peak on which stands a big rocky cross is nicely visible Boč with its surroundings, and in nice weather a view reaches from central Kamnik Savinja Alps to Pohorje. On the western summit is also an inscription box and a Slovenian flag. Partly already mentioned Donačka gora has two almost equally high peaks, western and eastern. Majority of mountaineers ends the ascent on the western summit, and only rare extend the ascent on 20 minutes distant eastern technically more demanding peak. On the eastern peak we can come also on a shorter climbing path.
