Bolnica Franja is former partisan war hospital, which is situated in gorge Pasica above Dolenji Novaki. Hospital operated from the end of the year 1943 to May 1945. Hospital consists of numerous smaller wooden shacks, which are situated in gorge Pasica.
18th September in the year 2007, wider area of Cerkljansko was hit by severe storm, which caused severe torrential floods. At that time water swept away all except one shack. Torrential waters, swept away also all the items, which were stored in shacks, which served as a museum. To date they found approximately 30% items, which they stored in museum in Cerkno.
After the floods in September 2007, they started with remediation and renovation of shacks and in the year 2010 they again opened the hospital for public. The price to see hospital Franja is 4 € for adults and 2.5 € for kids (price list May 2011).
