Veliki Javornik (Javorniki)

Description of mountain:
Veliki Javornik is 1268 meters high peak of the forested hills named Javorniki. The ample forests of Javorniki are spreading from Postojna to Cerknica Polje. In the forests of Javorniki lives a lot of birds species and other wild animals such as bear, wolf and lynx.
On the top of Veliki Javornik stands a smaller cottage of radioclub Proteis from Postojna.
