Žerjavec (Kavče)

Description of mountain:
Žerjavec or Kavče is covered with a forest, and partly a rocky a hill, which is rising eastern above the settlement Kočna (Poljane above Jesenice), at the altitude 805 meters. Known is mainly after archaeological site - Jamnikov spodmol, which is located on its western slope. On a rocky shoulder of this interesting peak is a pleasant bench, from where we get a nice view towards the settlement Kočna, Poljanska Baba, Gorje with Pokljuka, Boršt, and on part of Karawanks. A views towards Slovenski Javornik, Jesenik and Karawanks mountains we can also see from the north path to its peak.
